"Jacqueline"

"Jacqueline" is
a sweet bear who has befriended a little teddy dressed
as a Lady Bird. The two, over the years, have become
closest friends and seem to be doing everything and
going everywhere together.
This reminds me of
something I read sometime ago:
In our childhood,
teddy bears are warm companions - good listeners, never
critical, always reassuring. They are bear-shaped
security blankets, huggable enough to fold in our arms,
a perfect fit for our laps. In short, a teddy bear is
happiness and healing in a child-size furry package...

"Jacqueline"
stands 10 inches or
25 cm tall.
Fully jointed with discs and cotter pins and cotter pin
for her neck. Polyfill and garnet powder were used to give her a
nice feel about her. Made
from very short vintage sparse mohair. She has German black glass eyes.
Jacqueline has been
meticulously airbrushed and sculpted to give a sweet
look on her face. She has an embroidered nose, mouth and
eyebrows. She wears a pretty cotton voile dress and
underwear which has been hand embroidered and finished
with cotton lace. On her head she wears a lace double
bow. She holds her much loved teddy dressed as a Lady
Bird. "Jacqueline" has one of my sewn tags on her
tush, plus a swing tag signed by me for authenticity. She
was made in a smoke free environment.
