As
you can see, "Miss
Evelyn Thorton" is all dressed up, ready to
go on another journey... somewhere romantic, she
thinks.
'...I hope I have all I need... lets see...
extra hat, umbrella (if it rains), my facial
cream and perfumes, postcards and address book ... decisions,
decisions... oh well, if I forget
something, I can always buy it where I'm going...!'
Finally she has it all packed,
pleased with herself, she wonders what
marvellous places she'll be seeing shortly...

"Miss Evelyn Thorton"
is only 4 inches or 10 cm tall, made from the longest pile mini fur. She's fully
jointed and stuffed with garnet powder and cotton wool. She has onyx black eyes,
and her face has been meticulously airbrushed and sculpted. She wears a hand
dyed cotton lace dress decorated with a golden charm; and a handmade hat
decorated with netting, silk ribbon, flowers and feathers. Miss Evelyn has also
a gold chain bracelet on her left wrist. She'll come sitting in her vintage
Petit Point ormolu powder box, which stands on a wooden airbrushed base, covered
with a vintage airbrushed doily, decorated with velvet and silk flowers and a
couple of perfume bottles. Inside the powder box she'll bring a handmade mini
hat box, a tray of mini cosmetics, a vintage photo and postcard, and an
umbrella.
